About The Sri COM

Movies, TV series, games, technology and pop culture for Sri Lanka's geek community.

Founded in 2017 by Srimal Jayamanne, The Sri COM is home to Sri Lanka's largest geek community and a premier entertainment publication for people who love stories, technology and pop culture.

What we cover

We publish news, features and explainers about movies, TV series, games, technology, comics, anime, science fiction and the wider world of entertainment.

Our community

As Sri Lanka's largest geek community, The Sri COM has grown beyond publishing by supporting fans and creating fan events. In 2023, The Sri COM founded Ceylon Comic Fest, working with the Rotaract Club of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura to bring the event to life and connect fans of comics, fantasy, manga, anime, gaming and science fiction.

Our purpose

Our goal is simple: deliver clear, engaging and informative coverage that helps Sri Lankan readers keep up with the entertainment and technology they care about.
